Abstract

The study uses a variety of financial measures and statistical tools to assess the choices’
performance over a predetermined time frame. The results of this study will help investors make
wise decisions about their investment portfolios. In order to fully compare and analyze the risk and
return attached to two popular investment options—debt mutual funds and bank deposits—this
research study attempts to give a thorough comparison. Investors seeking security and income
generating frequently turn to these investing options.
